Blog Post #14 - The Ten Minutes Ago Method
Hey, it's Andrew, otherwise known as that guy who wrote "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read," and today, I'd like to cover a technique that you may already be familiar with (if you read my book).
But before we dive in, a quick friendly reminder about why it’s so important that you’re doing at least one method each and every single day...
Remember, on the surface, it might not seem like a lot is happening, but trust me when I say that energetically speaking, every moment of every day has the potential for making a HUGE impact on the vibrational signal you’re emitting without even realizing it, and if you use these techniques with focus and intention, you’re essentially making a statement to both the universe and yourself that you know what you want, you deserve to have it, and you’re openly inviting it to finally come into your life.
Just five minutes that you’ll be spending today is literally making a dent in the fabric of the universe in your favor. Your body’s senses almost certainly won’t detect it, but again, that’s why so few people stick with this daily routine despite it being so simple and effortless to do.
With that said, let’s go ahead and dive into the 'Ten Minutes Ago' method. I'd like to invite you to follow along with this after reading it once all the way through.
As you may know if you’ve already given it a try in the past, this is a wonderfully vivid type of visualization technique where you essentially remove any pressure that you may have around visualizing the exact moment that what you want happens for you ...by instead mentally putting yourself ten minutes in the future of receiving the news or experiencing the event instead.
It’s a great method for communicating to your subconscious mind that having what you want really now is your new reality, and your subconscious will then automatically do the heavy lifting for you of broadcasting that signal to the universe to begin matching.
Before we begin, keep in mind that I’m going to use ten minutes as the baseline that we’re visualizing it from, but if for some reason you prefer five minutes after getting the news of it happening or 20 minutes after you get what you want or a full day or even a whole week instead ...because you feel like it will give your personal visualization experience more emotional impact for you, please feel free to choose that different time frame instead. But if you don’t have any strong opinions about it either way, I recommend trying ten minutes.
So please run through the following instructions at your own desired pace...
Let’s begin by taking a moment right now and enjoy a nice calm easy breath in.
And now take an easy relaxing breath out and allow your body to release any tension it may have been holding onto.
And now take another deep breath in imagining yourself connecting more deeply with all the positive energies around you both seen and unseen.
And now breath out and allow those energetic bonds to strengthen even further as your body relaxes a little more.
And now breath in and see a warm white light being pulled into your body and healing your vibration as it gently fills you up.
And now breath out one more time, relaxing even more, and now beginning to mentally travel into the future.
It’s been ten minutes since you’ve received the news that what you want is now yours.
Take a minute to be grateful that this has finally happened for you, and acknowledge everything about the sensations in your body and the surroundings in your environment.
What’s going on in this moment?
Are you with someone?
Are you alone?
Did you receive news of getting what you wanted over the phone or through an email or did someone tell you in person?
Was it actual news or is this an event that you actually experienced for yourself ten minutes ago?
What are you wearing right now?
Are you standing or seated or lying down in bed?
Are there any sounds that you notice around you? Any sights? Smells?
How have your emotions settled in the past ten minutes? Are you excited? Elated? relieved? Relaxed?
What’s it like for you to know that as of ten minutes ago, you can officially cross this desire off your list of things that haven’t come to you yet? What’s it like to know that this is now yours?
Are you going to share the news with someone else? Did you already share the news with anyone? Are you going to call someone? Or make a post on your social media? Or are you going to tell anyone in person because you want to see their face and see how happy they are to hear your great news?
Are you calm right now? Or is your heart racing with joy and enthusiasm? Are you making plans for how you’re going to celebrate what you just received?
Take a minute out right now to feel the gratitude that this actually finally happened for you. Thank the universe for bringing this to you. And thank yourself for putting the time in and doing your manifestation methods on a daily basis knowing that the result that you just experienced ten minutes ago was inevitable.
Acknowledge what you’ve just accomplished here simply by energetically inviting it and taking any inspired action that felt light and appropriate to you. And decide what you want to cross off on our list next.
As you experience this right now and notice how you’re feeling and answering the questions I’m asking you, know that you’re firing trillions of extra brain cells, thus boosting your frequency and your energetic vibration to invite way more wonderful experiences and results into your life.
REMEMBER as you see yourself and acknowledge what it’s like to be who you are ten minutes after what you want has manifested-- THERE’S NO WRONG OR INACCURATE EMOTION YOU COULD POSSIBLY be feeling BY MISTAKE RIGHT NOW.
You can indicate what it’s like right now by describing any emotion along the spectrum of possible feelings ...because it can really be anything...and whatever level of excitement you feel in that moment is the perfect level for you. After all, by the time ten minutes has passed, the news has now sunk in. Whatever you’re thinking or feeling, this is now your reality.
Whatever you’re feeling now, just know that it’s a pure emotion that’s signaling to the universe that you have what you want. Because you do, and while The feeling you have as this new version of you might be dramatic, and it’s possible you’re experiencing this right now in a very impactful way.
Or you might also be feeling something way more subtle, which is also everything the universe requires in order to recognize and continue matching this new and improved vibration that you’re now broadcasting in this moment.
Smile and give thanks in gratitude of the fact that your vibration has now been raised to a higher and more beneficial frequency. Be thankful for what it feels like to be in a world of your choosing ten minutes after receiving what you wanted. Soak in the feelings for the next 20 seconds or 60 seconds or longer if you’d like.
