Blog Post #2 - Batman and The Law of Attraction
Hey, it’s Andrew, otherwise known as that guy who wrote "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read," and today, we’re gonna be talking about Batman.
Now we all know who Batman is. And a lot of you watching this right now probably even remember those awesome Batman cartoons from the early 90’s.
I mean, talk about bold, creative, and just plain out fun, right?
Well, while I didn’t realize it at the time when I was first watching any of those shows, they were actually teaching me a lesson or two about the Law of Attraction -- in their own unique way.
Now I know what you’re thinking:
“Learning about The Law of Attraction through BATMAN?? No way, dude.”
But you've gotta understand that there really are key lessons hiding in plain sight about the Law of Attraction in many of those shows.
Take, for example, the 8th episode in the first season, titled, “Forgotten.”
And yes, I know the actual episode number. :-P
Anyway, Here’s the synopsis that I found online for it. And I quote:
“When workers begin disappearing on the far edge of town, Batman leaves the cape and cowl behind, and decides to go undercover as just another ordinary worker.
But he loses his memory after being attacked and kidnapped, and is forced to work in a hidden mining camp with everyone else who disappeared.”
Okay, so let’s talk about this for a minute. As I just said, while investigating a crime in normal street clothes, Batman gets knocked out and captured by the bad guys.
He loses his memory as a result of the blow to his head, and since he wasn’t wearing his costume when they got to him, the bad guys have no idea who he is. So they just lock him up with every other prisoner.
Anyway, throughout the episode, Batman is just as helpless as every other person who was captured. He’s got no clue how to deal with the situation, and not to be a Debbie Downer about the whole thing, but he’s basically as good as dead here, just like everyone else with him.
But then -- his memory returns out of nowhere. And he suddenly remembers how strong and savvy and capable he is. And not only does he easily escape, but he frees everyone else, beats the bad guys, and gets home in plenty of time for some Netflix and chill (or whatever it is they were calling it back then).
The lesson here …is that Batman was always Batman. He even says it all the time: “I’m Batman.”
But he temporarily had a block in his awareness.
And while you may not realize it right now...
ANY failure on your part to recognize your own self-worth and the fact that you TRULY deserve EVERYTHING you’ve ever wanted — is simply a block in YOUR own awareness as well.
A block you developed when you were just a kid as a result of well-meaning (but misinformed) parents and teachers who were unintentionally conditioning you to see the world from a mindset of fear and scarcity rather than joy, expansion, and abundance.
But just like Batman, you are capable, you are worthy, and you’re JUST on the cusp of manifesting what you want IF YOU’LL ONLY JUST BE WILLING TO REALIZE IT AND INVITE IT IN by doing easy Law of Attraction exercises each day to get some positive momentum going for you.
Really, all you need to do in order to shine that light of awareness on who you really are is simply stake your claim on the notion that: “YES, I’m worthy of everything I’ve ever wanted, and it’s actually even right here already …JUST a step off from my current vibrational frequency, but in the process of getting closer and closer to the signal I’m emitting right now every single day!”
In other words, everything you’re learning about the Law of Attraction, and every single manifestation method you do — it isn’t about trying to convince yourself that you’re awesome.
It’s about realizing that you ALWAYS ALREADY WERE, and now all you have to do is step into that role that already represents the real you.
As long as you can keep your mind open to just the possibility that you’re way more complete than you ever realized, a lot of positive mental shifts will begin to take care of themselves for you. And that’s when all the fun (and all the manifestation) really begins.
Grateful for you,
-Andrew
