Blog Post #3 - The Gratitude Bounce Method
Hey, it’s Andrew, otherwise known as that guy who wrote "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read," and today, I’m gonna be teaching you a brand new manifestation method that I actually came with after I published my book AND after I launched my 90-day Gravity of the Cosmos Program.
So what I’ve actually got a WORLD EXCLUSIVE for you today.
Now as we do more and more content like this, you’re gonna see that what I teach is almost always rooted in the idea that success comes when you’re able to enjoy the law of attraction techniques so much, that they never feel like a chore so that you’re always able to do them consistently without doubting yourself or procrastinating.
And one way of doing this is by being able to notice when we’re struggling with a method for any reason and then finding a way to tweak it in just the right way so that it instantly becomes fun and easy to do. And that’s actually exactly how I came up with the method I’ve got for you today. I call this one - The Gratitude Bounce Method.
Now this is originally inspired by a method I learned about years ago that I was having trouble with. I don’t remember the name of it exactly, but the steps for doing it were pretty simple.
All you were supposed to do was say ‘thank you’ to yourself every time you physically took a step forward while you were walking somewhere.
It was that simple.
Take a step with your right foot - thank you
Step with your left foot - thank you.
The mindset here was that even a five minute walk somewhere has so many steps that all these little thank you's would easily add up to boost your mood and therefore, your vibration, and easily and automatically put you in a better state of gratitude, making you way more magnetic to all the things you want to attract and manifest.
And anyone who’s ready my book knows how important I realize gratitude really is.
So it makes perfect sense that I’d be way on board with this method.
There was just one problem I was having with it that I couldn’t seem to get past.
See, I’m a bit of an intense guy, so usually, when I walk, I walk FAST, and with a lot of purpose. So when I do this method, and I say ‘thank you’ with every step I take, it isn’t me going thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
It’s me going thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou
And when I’m going that fast, this method isn’t fun for me. It’s more something where there’s resistance there because I’m so busy trying to keep up with my own pace, that I can’t even enjoy any of the thank you's I say to myself, and I just end up impatient and frustrated myself, which defeats the whole purpose of trying to feel good to begin with.
And so I just quit on this one. I figure if it ain’t fun, don’t do it, right. Otherwise, not only do you defeat the whole purpose of the method, but you set yourself up to experience resistance that you never should have in the first place.
And I already had plenty of methods like the ones I teach in my book, so other than having a LITTLE more variety with ONE more method in my tool box, I didn’t really need another law of attraction technique, even though it would have been nice to have it as an option if I could make it work.
Anyway, years passed, and I was obviously just fine with all the methods I was already doing, but I always still kept myself open to learning or discovering or even creating fun NEW methods to add to what I already have.
And then one day not too long, something interesting happened...
I was taking one of my daily walks through my neighborhood, and for whatever reason, despite the beautiful houses, nice neighbors, friendly dogs, gorgeous trees, and everything else -- I was kind of starting to get bored.
Like, every single day.
No matter what route I took.
So I kind of just decided to dig out an old ball, and take it with me on my next walk. And I’d focus more on bouncing it as I went through my route than on any of the things around me that I would usually look at.
And through that simple action of bouncing the ball on my path as I went forward, my walks suddenly became fun again. You might say I was having an absolute ball. :-P
Then something kind of strange happened. A few days into this new routine, without even noticing it at first, I started saying ‘thank you’ to myself - EVERY time I bounced the ball.
I don’t know how it started or what made me do it, but it kind of just happened.
And it hit me. I finally found a way to do that footsteps method at a pace that was actually comfortable to me. Rather than saying thank you with every step, I would just say thank you (and let myself feel the gratitude that went along with it) each time I bounced the ball. I could bounce the ball and say thank you every five steps. I could bounce the ball every ten. I could bounce the ball without even counting the steps -- just whenever I felt like it, at whatever speed I felt like, whenever I wanted.
And this is the Gratitude Bounce method.
And while it probably sounds almost too simplistic to really work, when you give this a try, you might really surprise yourself when you see how much fun this really is AND how much gratitude you start to actually feel.
And we both know that Gratitude is one of the most powerful ways to attract and manifest what you want in your life, which is why this method is such a great one to do.
There’s just something about that pop of the ball off the pavement. The sound reminds me of when I was younger and didn’t have a care in the world. When all I felt each and every day was pure joy and complete freedom.
Now you might obviously be asking yourself -- when you do this method, what exactly are you saying thank you for?
Well, that’s the best part of this. Just like any other method I teach, you get to make this your own. So it’s your call, and maybe you don’t even think of anything in particular. You just think the words ‘thank you’ in your head over and over, and you see how that improves your mood.
Or you pick one thing to be grateful on your walk that day, and every time you bounce the ball, you’re saying thank you for that one specific thing. Like Thank you for my awesome Youtube viewers. Thank you for my awesome Youtube viewers. Thank you for my awesome Youtube viewers.
Or you choose something different to be grateful for with each bounce. Like Thank you for my health. Thank you for my friends. Thank you for my readers. And so on.
Bottom line - There’s no wrong way to do this - so pick whatever works best for you.
Oh, and it goes without saying, but be safe when you do this. Watch out for cars, dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons, lamp posts, and anything else that might you run into or trip over. ;-)
Have fun out there!
Grateful for you,
-Andrew
