Blog Post #22 - Attract Cooperation From Others
Hey, it's Andrew, otherwise known as that guy who wrote "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read," and today, I'm teaching you a top tier manifestation technique for when you’re expecting to interact with someone else in any situation in your life, and you’d like to future pace a more positive outcome with them -- one that not only suits your own preferences, but is also a win-win situation that they will be happy with as well.
In other words, this is meant to be used when you require the cooperation of others in order to successfully manifest what you want.
To be clear about this, when we use a technique like I’m about to show you, we’re not tricking anyone. We’re not harming anyone. We’re not doing anything that we might feel bad about, and so we can fully commit to this process knowing that we’re not unfairly taking advantage of someone else in order to get what we want.
I’ll have more on that shortly, but first I want to begin with the core philosophy behind this method.
You may remember that as I noted in “The Last Law of Attraction Book You’ll Ever Need To Read” -- everything is energy, including you and me. So even though we’re having this physical experience that we’re perceiving in 3 dimensions through our physical senses, there’s obviously a lot going on energetically beneath the surface that has way more influence over the way things play out in our lives than we usually are willing to acknowledge.
The Cooperation Creator Method was designed with this in mind and in recognition of the fact that a lot of our manifestations often depend in some way, shape, or form on the decisions and actions of others.
You’re literally inviting the energy of others being helpful to you and choosing to help you get what you want -- and so you’re basically energetically creating the cooperation that you desire.
This doesn’t mean that these other people won’t cooperate with us if we fail to use this method, but it is a way for us to be more intentional and invite cooperation that’s more in harmony with what we want way faster than we might normally have had to wait.
The key here is that this method can be used in pretty much any type of situation, whether you’re asking someone out on a date or when you need to negotiate with your credit card company, or you want to set up an interview for a job you want – or any other situation where you’ll be interacting with someone else and you need them on your side.
A quick important note here is that this takes practice, and can be unpredictable, especially when you start to use it. For some people, the method can work instantly, and for others, they’re way too attached to their outcome and they doubt the process before they even try it, so they end up focusing more on the lack of what they want than the achievement, which holds the reality of them not getting what they want yet in place.
I mention this because I want you to be as open minded as possible as you first try this, and be willing to accept whatever level of results you may or may not get in the beginning here.
It takes practice and it takes an open mind -- because unlike other manifestation methods you’ve already learned from me, this one involves focusing on others making decisions or taking actions according to what YOU want, and the natural order of things is more about people making choices based on what THEY want.
This doesn’t mean that they’re not going to help you, but it does mean that we need to set up a situation or scenario that we’re focusing on where they’re also winning and benefitting when you get what you want.
This is way easier to do than you might realize right now, which is why this method can be so powerful but I’ll explain how and why it’s so simple in another few minutes.
Ultimately, regardless of what manifestation methods you use, the key to them working is in nudging yourself into a vibrational frequency that’s more in tune with what you actually want -- so you need a mindset that isn’t carrying any resistance while you’re practicing the technique.
This is also something I will be handling for you today. All you have to do is follow the easy instructions that I offer, and everything else will take care of itself.
Bottom line -- since most of the things you want don’t manifest in a vacuum and you often need others to work with you in some way, this method will help boost your frequency in a way that’s in harmony with those around you and invites way more cooperation in your life.
That’s the purpose behind it, and that’s the reason why it will work.
Another great thing about this technique is that it can be done in more than one way, and we can actually leverage some of the techniques you’ve already learned in my book when you’re deciding how you want to utilize this method.
For example, as you’ll see in a minute or two, you can use scripting as a way of performing this method. Or you can modify one of the gratitude exercises you already know. Or this can simply be another visualization process. The choice is yours, and you have plenty of options.
Sometimes too many options can be a bad thing if you don’t know which one to take, so I’ll also offer you a standard version of the method that you can always default to if you don’t want to try more than one version of what you’re about to learn.
The best way to explain this is to explain each step in the context of a couple of different examples from various aspects of your life. Let’s begin and you’ll see what I mean here.
Remember, this is super powerful, but don’t force it. Just calmly try it out, let yourself enjoy the process and the feeling you’ll experience with it, and let the results unfold for you in their own way. The best attitude for this is one which invites the universe to surprise you in very pleasing ways whenever it spots an even better result than you were consciously thinking of.
By that same token, you should definitely feel welcome to focus on whatever specific outcome through cooperation that you feel will work best for whatever situation you’re in.
Okay, let’s begin.
There’s something you want, and you need someone else’s help in order for you to get it.
So if you’re asking someone out on a date, you obviously need them to say yes.
If you’re asking for help with an outstanding balance on your credit cards, you need the customer service rep on the other end of your phone call to be willing and able to help you -- whether it’s adjusting your interest rate, letting you consolidate your debt, letting you delay your next payment by a month without incurring any late fees, or whatever else you may need.
If you’re looking to set up an interview for a job that you really want, you need the person at that company to answer their phone, to be receptive to you, to like what you say, and to be willing to give you an opportunity.
There are plenty of other situations where the need for cooperation may come into play, whether you’re negotiating for a raise, or your trying to book a reception hall that’s usually sold out for an event, or you’re looking to get bumped to first class on an upcoming flight, or you need to borrow something from a friend, or you want to reconnect with someone you had a falling out with in the past and you want your first conversation with them again to be a positive one, or you need to call customer service for help with something, or you’re wanting to manifest a text message from somebody specific, or a million other things, but let’s stick with the three examples we have, and everything else will make sense from there.
Step 1: Find a quiet or comfortable spot, close your eyes, and take a few deep easy breaths.
Step 2: Begin visualizing the conversation or whatever other type of interaction you expect to have with the person you need cooperation from.
Step 3: As you continue to play out the scene in your head, think about what you’d like to happen. The best case scenario. Where the other person is cooperating with you or helping you in whatever way that you need. But also think about how the other person might feel while this is happening. Choose a version of this scenario where the experience for them is also very positive. They need to genuinely benefit from this in some way as well. Remember -- this is a best case scenario.
It’s a win-win situation. You’re not taking anything from the other person. You’re not taking advantage of them. You’re not manipulating them in any way. They want to help you because their cooperation also helps them. You’re both enjoying a positive experience and result in this visualization because choosing to imagine it in this way will flush out any potential resistance and establish the level of harmony you need in your vibrational frequency to actually invite and attract what you want.
Step 4: As you’re visualizing this positive experience that you’re sharing with the other person -- imagine how this might feel for you. Don’t force emotions that aren’t really there, but gently ease your way into however you think you might feel when this desired result actually happens and manifests for you. Take a minute or two to really breath the moment in and enjoy whatever feelings you might be having.
Step 5: Give thanks for the desired outcome manifesting for you. Be grateful for this wonderful moment you’ve just shared with the other person. Be grateful for their assistance. Be grateful that they were there to help you and that they were helped in some way as well.
Step 6: Depending on the situation, either make the first move to initiate the interaction or if it makes more sense for them to make the first move, wait for them.
Either way, be as relaxed and confident as you can about this, and be willing to let things play out however they’re going to before you choose to take any action.
And if this is a situation where either of you could logically make the first move, trust your gut about who should initiate things, and then -- based on what your gut is telling you, either initiate the interaction on your end or wait for them.
And remember, either way, there’s no wrong answer to this - allow yourself to know that either way is fine. Stay open to the notion that even if you make the so-called “wrong” decision, it can still easily work itself out anyway.
In terms of leveraging methods that you already know when you’re doing this, you can script out this scenario we were talking about. You can write a gratitude list of certain things playing out in a certain way in the interaction. For example, you can write “I’m grateful they were so excited when I asked them out.” “I’m so happy and grateful that the customer service rep was so helpful and really understood the trouble I was having.”
It’s that simple to modify the method in any way that fits in with your favorite type of manifestation method.
So let’s run through this method with a few examples.
If we’re talking about you asking someone out on a date, and we’re looking for a best case scenario that you both enjoy, visualize how flattered they are. Imagine how happy it feels to them to know that you like them so much that you’re willing to put yourself out there. Imagine how impressed they are by this and how good it makes them feel. Visualize the smile on their face.
If you’re a funny person, imagine cracking a hilarious joke that breaks the tension. If they’re the funny one, imagine them doing it. Just play out the scene in your head in a way that’s both believable AND amazing. Set it to things that happen in reality. Don’t imagine a unicorn busting through a wall with a huge bouquet of flowers because that just isn’t believable. But what is believable is what their face looks like when they smile. And how they sound when they nervously laugh because they’re blushing. Or how it feels to have them gently touch you on your arm when they say yes.
And remember to make this a really positive thing for them. Imagine how much they’re going to look forward to the date. How much fun you’re both going to have together. Imagine that you’re the one good thing in an otherwise boring or stressful day for them, and how much joy and relief you’re adding to their day when they say yes to going out with you.
If we’re going with the example of a customer service rep helping you with your credit cards, maybe imagine how you’re the first phone call they’ve had in at least an hour with a customer who’s polite and kind and nice to them. Imagine how good it feels to them to be able to help you because that’s their job.
Imagine the pride they take in their work and the good feelings they will experience when they help you and then you genuinely thank them. Imagine how great it will feel to them when at the end of the call, you ask to speak to their manager because you want to tell them how helpful they were and how professional they were and how they’re the reason you’re sticking with this credit card company and not taking your business elsewhere.
Your win is their win. You want to visualize a conversation that is positive and warm and friendly from start to finish, as you both team up and work together as a unit to fix your credit card problem. You want them to feel good about what they do for a living.
And you want to be their favorite call of the day -- one they go home and tell their spouse or partner about when they’re talking about how their day went.
If we’re talking about the example of setting up an interview for a job that you really want, you might want to visualize calling the hiring manager and having this awesome conversation where you’re almost finishing each other’s sentences, and how excited they are to talk to you because they’ve been desperately looking for someone like you for months and feel like they’ve finally found who they’re looking for.
Imagine both the relief and the excitement that you hear in their voice as you schedule a time to formally come in and discuss the position in more detail. Maybe you even give them some very useful advice while you’re still on the call that makes their day and saves them a ton of research or effort they would have had to deal with without you.
Do you see where I’m going with these examples? Do you see how these people are just so happy to help you because they’re winning as well? This is how you really pull this method off with real power and true impact.
And as you can probably tell, this is a great method to do before making a phone call, meeting someone in person, or even sending out an email or text message.
Final bit of advice. Have fun with this, especially in the beginning. If it doesn’t work the first couple of times, don’t worry about it. It may work right away or it might not. For most people, it does take some practice. You want to approach this all with a more relaxed attitude that isn’t too attached to any specific outcome. It’s your willingness to let things play out without forcing anything that will help you more than anything else with manifesting a favorable result.
Treat it more like a game than anything. Start with little things first, if possible, so that you can get used to the process and have more confidence and ease when you step up to things in your life that might feel bigger.
That’s the method in a nutshell. Remember to choose situations where everyone involved comes out a winner. Bring a mindset of fairness, kindness, and abundance into your visualizations. And have fun. This process is designed to add joy to your life as well as those who help you. As long as you approach it in that way, success will be inevitable.
Grateful for you,
-Andrew
