Blog Post #6 - Dealing With The Hard Reset
Hey, it's Andrew, otherwise known as that guy who wrote "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read," and today, I want to talk about a very important topic that most so-called “Law of Attraction” experts either seem to ignore because they don’t know how to address it OR they’re simply not aware of it because they haven’t been in the trenches themselves to actually discover this issue in their own personal life experience.
I’m talking about the hard reset.
And you’re probably wondering what I mean by that, so let me explain it like this.
I want you to imagine all the resistance you still have in your life right now as a dam that’s holding back a HUGE reservoir of water. This water represents all the happiness, the success, the money, the love, the romance, the health, and every other source of well-being that’s been building up more and more and more as it pushes its way to you.
And sure, with all the resistance you’ve had in your life, that dam is normally pretty sturdy.
But because of all the work you’ve been doing with my LOA methods (assuming you HAVE been doing my methods for at least a week or two), the dam is forming cracks and it’s starting to break. And when it finally goes, the avalanche of well-being will be so strong, you’ll wonder how anything could have possibly held it back for so long.
So right now, as you read to this, even if you haven’t noticed much of a difference in your overall mood or circumstances over the past 2 weeks, that dam of resistance of yours is mostly likely just on the brink of an absolute catastrophic collapse under the sheer weight of all that water that’s been forming.
What this means for you is that if you keep up your daily routine of using these simple and easy methods, -- and I’m talking about being truly consistent no matter what -- a lot of the things in your life that haven’t really been working so well for you are about to go bye bye.
And if one of those things happens to be a huge part of your life right now, that means some of the shifts that you MIGHT experience may end up feeling a little more over the top than you were initially expecting.
In other words, something big in your life might be on the cusp of a huge change. And since everything is connected, while it certainly isn’t a guarantee, there’s a possibility that you’ve got to be ready that it might feel like your life is resetting itself to a certain extent and that it’s in the middle of a huge shift and transition.
This is what I call the hard reset. It’s where something changes so quickly and so dramatically, it affects everything else going for you. And while this may not necessarily happen to you because everyone attracts the things that they want in different ways and at different speeds, if it does happen for you on any level, and you don’t trust the process you’re now in, the change that you experience may be a bit more jarring than you would have liked.
Now what do I mean by that?
Well, not to worry you too much, but for example, you may be at a dead-end job right now that’s paying you just enough money to keep you from moving on, and here you might be doing gratitude exercises every single day, and you’re feeling good in those few minutes that you do it, and for the most part things are going well -- and so you’re obviously very confused as to why things at work might feel like they’re getting a bit worse. And why people in your office are getting more difficult to work with in some way. And how all of a sudden it’s like you’re in danger of losing your job either because someone is trying to get you fired ...or you’re just so fed up that you’re seriously thinking about quitting despite the initial disruption that this might cause your life if there’s an interruption with your income.
Or maybe you’ve been in an unfulfilling relationship that’s going nowhere, and all of a sudden you and your partner are starting to argue more. Or they’re not giving you as much attention, and you’re wondering if they’re cheating.
And again, you’re wondering why this might be happening to you since you’re doing all the methods like you’re supposed to and you’re feeling good, and after all, the universe is supposed to be matching that vibration of feeling good and treating you way better, right?
AGAIN, I WANT TO ASSURE YOU THAT THIS ISN’T SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE, and it’s more likely that this WON’T happen to you, but we're also making sure we pull no punches when it comes to making my LOA methods work for you, and I want to prepare you for ANYthing and make sure you’re ready to deal with it no matter what may or may not happen.
So I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t at least address the possibility of this, especially now that you’ve been shifting your vibration for more than 2 weeks now.
So I need you to understand that if you’re doing the methods and you’re practicing gratitude every day, ...but for some reason, there are some things in your life right now that don’t seem to line up with that, and you’re wondering why,-- it’s simply because the universe has probably identified something WAY better for you and it’s pushing you to it much faster than you ever might have expected.
Now let’s be clear about this. I can’t advise you to quit your job. And I can’t suggest that you need to break up with your partner. And I won’t tell you to do either of those things. Ever.
I would never suggest anything like that that because 1- that might not necessarily be the thing you’re supposed to do, and you may only be one or two weeks away from whatever situation you’ve been struggling with to suddenly improve again -- and 2- this is your life and you make your own choices. I’m just the guy that shows you how to leverage the law of attraction for the quickest most efficient most powerful result that you’re looking for.
And I’m simply telling you that it’s POSSIBLE that if things suddenly take a bad turn in an important part of your life like the examples I just gave you, the Universe MIGHT be pushing you out of that situation so that you can get into a better one much quicker. Whether that means a new career. Or meeting the love of your life. Or whatever.
To give you another example, Maybe your car is starting to break down despite your gratitude for it because the universe has a new one for you that it wants you to have because it might make you look better on a job interview that you’ll be going to soon.
Or it might catch the attention of a potential romantic partner when you’re out and about Or some other reason we can only wonder about.
You always want to trust your instincts about these kinds of things. And you also want to make sure you don’t talk yourself into quitting a job or ending a relationship because you’re worried that your next big opportunity might be passing you by right now.
The truth is, as long as you keep up with these methods, you can’t make a bad decision of staying someplace where you shouldn’t. After all, if you hold onto your job despite things getting bad, trust me when I say that they WILL get better if you maintain an attitude of abundance and a mindset of gratitude.
And if the universe had a better job for you lined up, it’ll simply find a gentler way of getting it to you that will probably just take a little bit longer. Same thing regarding your relationship or anything else big in your life.
After all, it can be a scary thing to intentionally get out of a job or a relationship, so don’t please do it if you don’t want to. And if things are rough in any big part of your life, don’t automatically take that as a sign to leave. Trust your gut instead -- and either stay or leave based on what that tells you. Be willing to accept responsibility for your choice either way, and stick with these methods no matter what, and everything else will work itself out one way or another.
And all I’m saying here is that if massive changes seem to be happening or like they’re on the way, it’s because you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to, the dam is breaking, and all the great stuff that you want is just now starting to crash through on its way to you, and because this is unfamiliar territory for you, those kinds of changes don’t always come in a package that your ego is open to.
Really, what I’m trying to get across to you today through everything I’m saying here, is don’t be scared of a hard reset. It likely won’t happen to you anyway, but when you consistently engage in gratitude exercises for any sustained period of time, whether it’s more jarring than you expected or it’s perfectly smooth and simple like most people experience, life can sometimes change quickly and unpredictably.
But it’s all still for your highest good if you’re willing to claim it. And if you’d rather wait longer for a smoother shift in your reality, just ask for that, be willing to wait a bit longer, and be grateful that it’s happening at a more relaxed pace since by asking for that slower easier pace, that’s what the universe will begin giving you.
But no matter how things start to shift for you, it is VITAL (in my humble opinion) that you stick with the LOA methods you know and enjoy, because if the road gets a little bumpy FOR ANY REASON AT ALL, it’s your daily habit of gratitude or scripting or visualizing or any combination of the three that will calm the waters WAY FASTER for you and leave you with a WAY BETTER end result.
And in the end, always remember that the universe loves you and it wants you to be happy, and it’s always got something truly amazing waiting for you that you were always truly meant to enjoy, so a hard reset, if it happens, will only come if you’re truly ready for it, and it will never be the end of anything that you actually love or care about. It could only possibly take you out of something that you’re not happy with. -- so don’t be shy about staying the course and sticking it. When you see the magic that’s waiting for you on the other side of this, you’ll understand why I insisted you keep up this daily routine no matter what.
And again, to soothe your ego a bit, and really set your mind at ease here -- I’m only bringing this up because I want you to be ready for anything. Luckily, hard resets are not the rule of thumb, but my most important point today is that no matter what is going on, you just want to stay grateful in the face of everything, continue to use the methods to focus on what you want, and let things continue to get better and better for you on their own without trying to force anything or rush it in any way.
Because as long as you stick with doing one method every day, whether it’s the same one or a different one each time, the gratitude you experience though it will continue to broadcast a signal that will quickly build momentum on its own and attract results that will blow your mind and change your life in ways you never would have imagined.
